Christmas Time, Mistletoe and Wine...

...well pohutukawa actually. As most of you who have visited in the last couple of days, you would have noticed that I have hung my decorations on my blog. And as the Pohutukawa is the national Christmas Tree for New Zealand and the beach is our playground at this time of the year, I thought it only too appropriate. So Christmas is upon us again, and another year almost over. I am feeling a little chipper today as the tree is up and the Christmas shopping is done, finite, finished, no more!!! Now let all the activities begin, and what a line up I have. School break ups and productions, Kindy parties, the local Carols by Glolight which my daughter is involved in for the first time. Our own work do this weekend, phew!! I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you who have supported the forum, gallery and shop over the last 12 months. A special thanks to Brenda for all her help too. I know it is not easy with two young children. Thankfully mine are just that little bit older.
For those that comment about their Christmas plans, I will do a draw for a RAK this time next week. After all it is Christmas.

Its a good feeling to get all the shopping out of the way. Am planning on taking it easy on Xmas Day and just enjoying it. Have family coming from Oz after Xmas though. Have really enjoyed being part of the Scrapbox forum and taking part in challenges and competitions this year. Merry Christmas to you and all the best for 2009.

I am hosting Christmas lunch at my place this year, and my sister is coming up from Tauranga with her family, including a new baby girl born this morning!! I can't wait. And then my other sister is coming over for a visit from London at the end of Jan, which is very exciting. Will be great to have something to look forward to after Christmas; I usually feel a little flat after all the celebrations.

We are having the extended family over for brunch on Christmas day - then off to my SIL's for dinner, and after that we have a week off, but no firm plans yet.
