In my element

Greetings!  Good to see that Spring is finally here.  Today the sun is shining.  Let's hope that this carries on into the school holidays which are coming up here in New Zealand.

A friend recently seeded an idea for me... the idea of scrapbooking myself.  I don't often scrap me.  I am more focused on my boys, but as she said- my boys will want to know my story.  True.  So today a LO of me, doing what I love.  Photos were taken by Brenda M. :)

Most of the products you see on my LO can be purchased from Scrap Box NZ.  That lovely big butterfly was cut using my silhouette Cameo.  These can also be ordered through SB NZ.

New papers loaded

Some brilliant new papers have been added to Scrap Box NZ store - check them out here.  Some have been around for a little time now, but they are just gorgeous and I've been asked to bring them in for some clients.

My Mind's Eye - Follow Your Heart -I've always loved these papers and now they are here, absolutely great for scrapbooking.

My Mind's Eye - The Sweetest Thing - Bumble Bees, Doilies and Flowers - Pink, Yellow & Creams

Simple Stories - Documented and Awesome - These are wonderful 4x6 journalling cards that were used in a Smash Album class I did with Trina McClune.  Awesome Collection are great for adding to Boys pages.

What a mission - New Carpet in the Shop !

Everything had to be moved.  The shelves were so heavy we needed to take all the papers and cardstock off them.  I didn't realise how much stock I had - LOL!

Above & below everything moved to the garage!

Then for the good part - putting it all back in and having a change about.  I still have all the cardstock colours to put on the shelves and sort the papers out.  I actually was thankful for a wet weekend, as I hid in the shop and returned it to normal.

I've always said I loved Ribbon - this in only about half of what Scrap Box NZ has to offer.  The lace and ric rac are in another area.

Well I'm off to put all the cardstock colours back on the shelf - that's all 210 of them (and that doesn't included the textured ones)!!!

Sketch Layout Challenge

I thought maybe it was time to go back to a sketch. Let you decide on colour, embellishments and subject or theme. Use the sketch below to inspire your creativity for a 12 x 12 layout. Please email your finished project by midnight on 30 September 2012 to fiona@scrapboxnz.com. That's four weeks to create and maybe encourage others that might want to win a $20.00 gift voucher to spend at Scrap Box NZ.

5 Things Challenge Entry

The challenge was to create a layout and list 5 things you can't do without.

So very thankful to Brenda who took up the challenge and entered this great layout.  If you consider Brenda's 5 things she can't do without, they could all relate to Scrap Booking.  Glasses to see what you are doing, notebook for ideas, camera to capture the moment, eftpos card for all those little must haves from your scrapbooking store and cellphone to keep in touch.

Brenda as the only entry you will receive the $20.00 voucher to spend at Scrap Box NZ.  Really appreciate your support and I know you were supper busy this month and got the layout to me early as you were going away.  Hope the whitebait are running - LOL.

Winners

As you can imagine, it was just too hard to choose one card over the other in the tag card challenge.  Both of you have done an amazing card and really appreciate you entering the challenge.  You both are winners - therefore you both receive the $10.00 voucher to spend at Scrap Box NZ.

I will email you both with your voucher information - Happy Spending.

Great comment from Vicki wanting to know who you "both" are!  Sorry, I know and the winners knew, sort of forgot to let the rest of you know.

Z Tag Card is Michelle Frisby & the Easel Card is Jo Eden.  Again a huge thanks to your both.
