You only have until Tuesday 29th Jan to buy Bazzill Basics cardstock for 89cents. Usual price is 99cents. Still a good buy. Two Scoops is in with Paper, stamps, rub-ons, and brads. Check out the shop for this fantastic range by Basic Grey. For those of you who aren't familiar with Scrap Box NZ. We have our own forum, online gallery, and monthly challenges. I am currently in the process of enhancing and adding new forum topics. If you want to join the fun of sketch challenges, look out every month for your chance to win a $40.00 voucher to the 'shop'. I am starting the monthly guest designer spot again in February so you only have a couple of days to add your name to the list for the draw. You will receive a kit to create some layouts with. You then post them in the gallery. Keep an eye on the forum as there will be a couple more enhancements in coming weeks.......AND......tell your friends we are here. The more people the more fun.

Yes, that is right, as of Friday January 11th I will be taking over the reins of Scrap Box NZ from Brenda Ponder. It was the right decision for her and me. I guess it is a case of being in the right place at the right time. I would first like to wish Brenda & her family all the best for whatever they do. I do hope to still see Brenda posting on the forum and contributing to the gallery. As for those who know Brenda she will still be around supporting me in this new challenge for a little while. I hope to in coming months implement a few little surprises and exciting new things to the website, but you will all have to bare with me until I learn the ropes so to speak. Hears looking towards good thing for Scrap Box NZ.

My worst fears were almost realised yesterday afternoon. It was hot here again in sunny Nelson, so I took the kids down to the school pool for a swim. The session started out great, until Emma, who was in the toddler pool fell and hit her mouth on the side of the pool. I immediately grabbed her and thought oh no teeth. As always in the mouth it bled profusely. I panicked, Jaden started crying and Emma was hysterical as you can imagine. Once I got her home and upon closer inspection and advise from the duty nurse, all was fine. She has severely bruised her top gum, but luckily missed all teeth. WOW what a day!!!

To all out there in blog land. A new year, and to start the new year it is a beautiful hot day in sunny Nelson. To most my New Years eve celebrations were a little boring. But to those in scrapland the best. I had a quiet night at home scrapping, aah yes heaven. I have completed my first LO for 2008 and as I said a good start. I have decided to up the anti on myself and really put a lot into my scrapping. This year my goal is to be published (Up2Scrap maybe). Also to those of you who left comments on my blog since I started it late in the year, Thanks... and keep the comments coming. Even though I may not reply to comments I do read them.
