Well done Brenda, you have used the colours well and the layout looks great. Email Fiona with your details and she will be get in contact about your voucher. Thanks to all that entered. Look out for the next challenge in June.
These are the amazing layouts that were sent in for the colour challenge. Aren't they great. Below was the inspiration and isn't it amazing different interpretations of colour. I will post the winner later today when Julia has made her decision. Keep a look out!
I've received some amazing layouts, very talented people. We will make a decision over the weekend and let you know who won shortly. Thanks to those that put an entry in.
I have a busy weekend ahead, need some more hours in my days. We have an engagement to go to today so tomorrow all feeling well, I will be adding more product. Boxes are surrounding me! Don't forget this is the last week of the May sale - 20% off.
Hope all your layouts are going well. 2 more days till I need them. The Colour Inspiration challenge finishes this Friday 22nd. Be in to win a $20 voucher to spend in store.
More boxes of product have arrived, so I'll be busy loading them. For those of you who missed out on the flowers - chocolate brown and wedgewood blue. I've just ordered more and now they will be in 2.5cm, 5cm and 7cm. Great for layering.
Have a look under preorders for May monthly kit. A very cute door hanger for babies room. Using the Little Yellow Bicycle papers and clear cut shapes. Great value for money and would make a lovely gift either made up by you and given as the kit.
Hope you all like the new revamp the site has got. Julia's been working hard in the background giving us a new look. It now ties the blog and site together. I'm in the process of creating business and product cards so Scrap Box NZ will have a visual link.
I received a big box of product yesterday, so along with more ribbon I will be loading these into the store. Take advantage of the sale because it includes all the new items as well.
With all the bad weather predicted, time to stay inside and have a great scrapping weekend.
Hope you were spoilt for Mothers Day! We mothers should be appreciated everyday for the work we do! I received two lovely handmade cards from my daughters and then spent the day with them at Kaiteriteri. It was great! Oh did I say I got breakfast in bed too!
Hope you've been checking in on the "What's New" in the shop, coz I've been buying!!! Lovely papers for preschool boys from Three Bugs in a Rug - Snips & Snails range. Frogs, caterpillars, snails and turtles in blues, greens, browns and tans. Just Great. My Minds Eye have brought out a lovely selection of paper in the French Flea Market range. Blue, green, and brown hues. Some girls colours are coming! Spots and strips - orange, pink, blue and purple.
Keep an eye out for the new ribbons - I was very excited when they arrived from America. They are just gorgeous. Just in case you didn't know I'm a ribbon girl! I've just started listing them and the price start from $1.00 They are sold by the metre. Don't forget the sale for May with 20% off makes the ribbons very reasonable.
How's the inspiration for the challenge going? Still got another week so if you haven't got started still heaps of time.
Here is your first Colour Inspiration Challenge from the Blog. Your mission should you choose to accept it is to create a 12x12 layout using the above colour combo. You have until Friday 22nd May to email your creations to firstname.lastname@example.org. At the end the winner will be awarded a $20-00 voucher to spend in the store
Love your interpretation of the layout. Great use of colours brought from details of the photo's. The circle makes it seem like the whole picture is like looking in a mirror. The subject is a great one from someone who use to spend a fortune on getting straight hair curly. Well done. Vicki could you email me and I'll be in touch with the voucher.
Well done to everyone else who entered, as you can see from the entries it was a hard one to choose.
Did you all know that today is INTERNATIONAL SCRAPBOOKING DAY. Maybe you might be able to put some time aside to create something.
Here are all the layouts from the April Sketch. As the Gallery and Forum have now been deleted, I thought it a good idea to upload them onto the blog for all to see. Fiona and I will find a winner for the $30-00 voucher and post the results here. So stayed tuned and well done to everyone for their interpretation
