Paper Christmas Tree

This is so cute and if you have time, I think would be quite easy to make.  Of course it would look great in colour as well or maybe a group of three.  Love it!

In the previous post, Sally has the tags all sorted and
here a neat idea for presenting that special present.
The good old brown paper all dressed up!

Authentique

Hi there!  Couldn't reist this gorgeous yummy Authentique sticker sheet that Scrap Box NZ has in.  Such good value.  I used them as a starting point for my Christmas tags.

Other Scrap Box products used:  Seam binding (assorted colours), mini pom pom trim and Kaisercraft background sheet music stamp.

Hope you're enjoying the silly season and not feeling too overwhelmed with all that is happening and needs to be done.  Blessings.  Sally.

Scrapbooked Spoon

Isn't that gorgeous!
Would work well on a wooden spoon or old ladel
- maybe for a "cooking person's" present!
Thanks again Pinterest!

End of Year Dancing!

Wow I'm pleased that's all over.  Both my daughters have been in end of year Dance Concert's for the pass three days.  Different Dance Schools, different venues (20 min's drive from each other) and same times!  One does Hip Hop and the other Jazz.  We've been dropping off and picking up, taking other girls home and getting our girls picked up by relatives.  But we did manage to see them both (one night each) and they did a great job.

Somewhere in between all that we got the Christmas Tree up and the decorations around the house.  Isn't it great to revisit the decorations.  The girls asking when did we make this and where was this one from.  Me saying be careful, as that one from an Auntie that is no longer with us.  That's one's precious and that one's really old.  Among them too are one's from Kindy and School days.  Little photo frames with their pictures in from Preschool.

Love the home made decorations as much as the brought ones.  Pinterest has such inspiration and great ideas - now just to find the time to make them!

A Christmas Set

This one's not from Pinterest, but something I made up.  I was asked by a Mother at school to show some ladies at the Over 50's Club some craft.

So I put together this set.  Gave them a kit with everything in it.  It was all die cut, embossed, stamped & cut to size.  All they needed to do was glue it all together and thread the buttons with bakers twine.  They all enjoyed it and were off to make more lolly bags for Christmas Gifts.

As the number of people who were going to do this worked out less than predicted, I do have Kits for sale.  They are $5.00 a kit (sweets not included)and would be a great  set for your children to make for "Teacher Gifts".  Email fiona@scrapboxnz.com if you would like a set - postage would be $2.10 or could be couriered for $3.00

The Lolly Bag could also be used for Baking, Fudge, Chocolate or Bath Salts, Soap, Bubble Mixture and just by changing the paper on the top could become a Birthday or Thank you present too!

The Silly Season !!!

The 1st of December 2012 - it feels like it's come round so fast!  The Christmas CD's came out today and the Christmas countdown has begun. Even got some shopping done today!

I've just had a lovely time scrolling through Pinterest and finding some amazing images I'm going to share with you over the next 25 days.  There are so many clever and inspiring people out there and great, easy, simple but effective ideas.
