Product Overload...

I thought that I would share some more pics of the lovely product that arrived on Saturday. The new product will be loaded into the shop during this week. But here is a sneak peak of what you can expect. Bazzill Basics chipboard shapes are in which is great for adding dimension to your layouts and cards. We now have a bigger variety of colours in the 4.5" blossoms which seem to be quite prominent on pages at the moment. They look especially good folded in half with a large brad in the middle. **NEW** Scrapworks acrylic albums are in too. So watch the shop for these great products.
I have actually managed to do a little creative work over the weekend too. I will share these in my next post.

My Mojo is back!!

Over the weekend I got out my scrapping stuff for the first time in a little while. I just couldn't get into a creative flow at all with what I was working on. So I went back to basics and decided to make a card instead. So here is a look at what I created this morning. Just love some of the old Basic Grey favourites. Here I used papers from the Infuse line along with just a few scraps from my own stash. I gotta love the dimensional look, which I will now apply to my layouts. The KaiserCRAFT wooden flower has been covered with dimensional magic, then glitter.

On the subject of KaiserCRAFT, Look at all the goodies that arrived today.

They will be loaded into the store in the next couple of days. I know some of you have been eagerly awaiting the droplets. Some have made mention of them on the forum. Well here they are!!! AND will retail for $2-50 each. At that price you could buy several (because choosing is hard).
Well happy droolling over this yummy product.

I've been Tagged...

Yeh thanks Nic...

10 years ago... I was 24 and living with by husband of 4 years (no kids at this stage) just a Cocker Spaniel named Milo. He is still with us (just, as he is now 13 years old) We owned along with the bank our first home just down in Wakefield.

5 things to do today... Eat tea ( a roast pork my darling husband has cooked), then clean up, put kids to bed, WORK!!! then bed myself.

Snacks I enjoy... yep, cheese and crackers for me too!! LOL, and popcorn

Things that I would do if I were a millionaire... well I'd have a housemaid for a start, and a nanny, more time to scrap!!

Places I have lived... Well... Nelson (Richmond) then Darfield for four years (I started school at Darfield Primary), back to Richmond, then Brightwater (where my parents still are), Stoke, Wakefield, Richmond, Wakefield (now). Haven't been far.

So my turn to tag.... Bronny, Dallas, and Tanya-Leigh.

As Promised...

I would post some photos of my scraproom/kids playroom, so here is the completed room. I am so thrilled with how it has turned out. I have also posted some pics of the fabulous stock that I have available at the moment. The slat wall is courtesy of the local supermarket!!

Better Late Than Never...

I know that the sneak peak of July's Monthly Kit is late (24hrs) but it is better to be late than never at all, right? We had a very busy day yesterday with Jaden's birthday and by day's end both kids were pretty knackered. So here is the kit for July - Funky Vintage. Create a beautiful keepsake album from yesteryear with this kit. The kit will go on sale as from the 1st July, retailing at $47-90. Great value for what is in these kits.

Here are a few photos of Jaden's big day yesterday.

As you can see by the last of these photos, the boys were in my new craft room. They had a ball in there with all Jaden's toys. And I have to admit that I am pleased it is now finished!! I will post some photos of my room next time as I would like to show you all photos of what it looks like during the day.

Finally!!

My room is finished, and most of my stuff is in there. Just my cardstock cupboards to go in (tomorrow) but the need a little repair as they fell apart getting them out in the first place. But nothing too major, nothing that a dear husband can't fix!! LOL. I started moving myself in as soon as the carpet layer left. I just couldn't contain myself anymore, so hopefully by tomorrow end I will be completely organised. I will post photos once all my cupboards are in. I 'wave' to Nic in CHCH as I know she reads my blog and I don't want to appear rude as she waves to me.

White Out...

...well sort of, this is what we woke up to this morning. It was completely white with a 3 degree frost. Now I know that we don't get the thick snow that has been falling around the country, but it is cold just the same!!! AND what makes it worse is that during the peak of winter when there is a huge frost our windows freeze on the inside!!! (True) They freeze shut, I guess that is the joys of living in a farm house in the country. So already I am sick of winter.
So I guess with winter well and truly set in, it is time to get out the scrap-booking supplies and curl up inside guilt free. Check out the shop for the amazing new ranges from Imaginisce (Baby Powder and All Kinds of Happy) with its glitter accent and co-ordinating sprinkle brads. Next month will see the launch of 'Monthly Specials' on product lines, so it pays to keep a lookout on a regular basis.
Interest has been high for Scrap Box NZ Team Member Challenge that I have set, and you have until Friday the 4th of July to have completed entries to me. This opportunity will see the winner able to take part in setting the monthly sketch ( and completing an inspirational LO of this). Choose monthly sketch challenge winners and take an active role in the forum and gallery with their inspirational work.
Well my scrap room is almost complete, the painting is finished and the carpet goes down on Friday, Yippee!! Remember for those that are local (or if you are from out of town and in the area) there will be crop nights. I hope to have the first one next month with a fun night planned and specials on some product lines, but more planning is needed and I will give details closer to the time.
I think this is the longest post on my blog that I have done, so I wont bore you anymore.
Julia

Another Progress Report!!

Ok, this is hopefully my last update before my work space is completed. The sealer/undercoat has gone on the walls today so hopefully in the next couple of days the colour will start going on. Yippee. I can't wait to finally have a space to work in as well as pick & pack orders. At the moment it is a bit like climbing Mt Everest for a piece of cardstock. All my cardstock cupboards are just shoved into a corner of the garage and my poor car lives outside!! I will not post any more pictures until it is finished now. As I mentioned in earlier posts, there will be crop nights (or afternoons) arranged.

I am at the moment going through the final stages (in my head) the details of the Scrap Box Team Member challenge. I will in coming days post all the details in the forum for all to see. So all I can say is WATCH THIS SPACE!!!

Be Aware!!!

I am currently looking for a contributor role for Scrap Box NZ. I will have full details of this great oportunity on the forum in the next couple of weeks. Brenda Ponder has kindly accepted my offer of one of the roles. BUT..... I am looking for one more. Your role, (should you choose to accept it) would be taking an active part in the forum/gallery. That would mean to complete 'inspirational' LO's of the sketch each month, having some say in monthly sketch winners and helping to decide what goes into the monthly kits. So keep watch for rules and guidelines!!.

In other news... the website is having a MAJOR revamp and keep watch for the new range of products from Imaginisce, (All Kinds of Happy and Baby Powder)
