I have given the blog a make over just for Fiona. I have used her most favourite, favourite colour scheme. I will find a blog header for this one and if there are any more changes to the blog it will be her call.

I have also set the new colour inspiration challenge for the fortnight ending 14 April. We will choose a winner for the last challenge tomorrow.

So here it is

And Now We (I) Say Goodbye...

As you have all been waiting so patiently, I thought it time to spread the news. I have sold Scrap Box NZ to very good friend of mine. As some of you will know, I have had a couple of pieces of my work accepted by two NZ Publications. I have had a long hard think about where my scrap booking has gone in the last 12 months and even though I have enjoyed the journey with you all. It is now time to move on and to concentrate on my own scrapping projects. Also for those that know, Phil and I also run a successful Hydraulic Hose Repair business and over the last 12months has gone from strength to strength. I now need to concentrate my efforts on this and my family. So you will from now until the 1st of May slowly get to know Fiona Gill, but until then it is business as usual and I am sure that Fiona will be capable of providing the same high service that I have. I will however still be around to support Fiona during the transition. Many thanks to all my loyal customers, forum members and supporters, without you Scrap Box would not exist.

Until we meet again....

Well, we must bid farewell to both Lynne and Dallas as DT members. They have moved onto bigger and brighter things and we wish them all the best with their new challenges. Stay tuned though as there could be some exciting changes to Scrap Box NZ in coming weeks. I myself have set a few challenges and with four pieces of my work being accepted to the Innovations publication, this has given me a taste of the other side of scrapbooking. Also on the subject of Innovations. I have had a couple of enquiries as to whether I will be stocking this new mag, yes I will be so keep an eye on the store.

Kaiser fun

Well I was lucky enough to recieve some fab Kasier products in the mail not long ago (well was a little while but little miss been unwell).Julia send out a range of the Kasier Lovestruck range. PP's included lace hearts, St valentine, Cupid, Sweetheart. Along with these gorgeous papers there was some Kasier fozz felt, Brazzill Bling brads, Brazzill really big brags(watermelon), some lovely white, blue and dark pink flowers, Bassill chips-hearts, along with some brazzill cardstock.
I can't believe what I got out of this supply and it was non intentional to make as much as poss but while the creative flow hit and the paper continue, I did too.
The layouts- from my own stock I used Kasier paints, kasier pearls, kasier rub ons, thread, ribbons, stazon, sharpie, kindy glitz, mini alphas.
The cards-

March is here already

Can't really believe it's March already but here it is. For this months sketch I chose one that's a little different with a circle as the outline. Remember it's only a guide or starting point so take the basic idea and create your version of it.

Here's my interrpretation: I didn't have any portrait photos printed that I wanted to scrap so I turned the photo around and moved the embellishment cluster. Just a quick basic layout as I'm trying to limit the time I am spending on each layout at the moment. To just stick it down and go with it instead of contemplating it's placement for I don't know how long then changing my mind altogether (I am not generally a fast scrapper!) Was nice to finish a project in one sitting.

Supplies used were: Making Memories cirucular paper, Websters Pages paper, Basic Grey Periphery paper and Urban Priarie stickers, Prima flowers, Cuttlebug butterfly die, Carolees Creations alpha stickers, Maya Road sheers, Autumn leaves stamps and some ribbon.

You Can Find Me....

here too. I have now started a personal blog where I can share my creations that are not affiliated with the shop. For those of you interested, I have purchased a blog couture background and header from House of 3. Go check it out, if you like Heidi Swapp, you will like these designs. She has teamed with Rhonna Farrer and Janet Hopkins to create this wonderful site.
