OK I promised....

to share a couple of creations with you, I have been able to take time out to create and I have enjoyed it. So here are a couple more cards that I have made. Real girly cards, don't you think? the first one is just a couple of Bazzill Basics flowers folded in half to make the skirt part of the dress. I have used Bazzill bling cardstock (petty cash and in the pink), KaiserCRAFT rub-ons and pearls. The second one is made using the same cardstock as well as Fancy pants rub-ons, bazzill flowers, Inque Boutique stamp, KaiserCRAFT paper.

I Know, I Know

It has been awhile since I last blogged, But the sale has kept me on my toes. However I have had a little opportunity to create a couple of things, I will share them in my next blog.

For those of you who have not yet taken advantage of the sale, there is only 5 days to go. Stocks are running low, especially the cardstock. I will not be restocking Sugared, Boxer and Two Scoops from Basic Grey. So once they are gone they are gone!! You also only have 4 days left to get your name into the monthly guest designer draw, and the same for the sketch. Dallas will be setting the next sketch, so watch the forum for this. The poll for the 3 lines of Basic Grey that I will stock is fast running out also. Christmas is just around the corner and I have already made my first Christmas line order. Basic Grey are going to put out a Christmas line too, so we will watch with baited breath for that one.

30% off Sale...

Yep... 30% off EVERYTHING!!! This includes monthly kits, and is product wide. Take advantage of this sale as I need room for all the yummy new stuff. Also check out the poll that is up on the forum. I will be bringing in 3 or 4 of Basic Grey's new lines, but I am leaving the decision up to you to tell me what to bring in. You have until the end of July for both of these.

Tough Decision...

-Milo-
1st January 1995 - 15th July 2008

We as a family have had to make one of the most toughest decisions of our lives. Just a few hours ago our dear old dog Milo was put to rest. He had a great life and at 13, it was time to say goodbye. Phil and I were with him the entire time as he went to sleep for the final time. Without full diagnostics, the vet thought that he had Cushings Disease, and over time was only going to get worse. We wanted to give him some dignity while he still had it. So Rest In Peace old friend we are going to miss you.

School Holiday Blues...

I love my two little darlings to bits, but have to admit I hate school holidays (except not having to make lunches and run down to Kindy three days a week). I spend the entire school holidays guilt ridden and yelling. Well I feel guilty because the work still goes on and that I SHOULD be spending time with the kids. And the fighting drives me up the wall so hence the constant harsh words. Although Jaden has been lucky to have been kept busy with going to friend's places. Tomorrow (weather permitting) I will take them to the Mapua Aquarium which they have never been to.

On the shop front, all new stock is now loaded, so go check it out. For those of you on budgets and lets face it, who isn't feeling the pinch of the ever increasing prices of almost everything. The new KaiserCRAFT papers and embellies are just great without the loss of quality. Don't forgat the July Monthly Special on Cosgmo and Blackboard Chipboard. These chipboard mini albums are great as they are black and make a fantastic background on their own.

We have welcomed Dallas to part of the team, and she has jumped right on in boots and all with doing a lovely inspirational Layout of July's Sketch. My two team members will also be set challenges of their own too, although neither of them know it yet.

New Scrap Box NZ Team Member

Well, Scrap Box NZ has a new team member. Dallas Foley has accepted the position of team member, and will join Brenda Ponder to set challenges/sketches/and basically run the forum. As Scrap Box expands the time I can spend on the forum is very little, so hopefully these two ladies can keep it running smoothly for me. So to both of you good luck, get stuck in and the forum is your free range.

On another note, Phil & I were fortunate enough to do the most fabulous trip through some of New Zealand's most spectacular scenery over the weekend. Our trip saw us take the bus from Nelson to Picton, then straight onto the Tranz Coastal down to Christchurch, where we spent the night. It was an early start on Saturday morning with a wake up call at 5:30am, to catch the Tranz Alpine. Absolutely magic looking country. We were not disappointed by the snow. We had a night in Greymouth, before returning home yesterday. It was a group trip with some that I didn't know, but by the end of it we met some fantastic people.

These photos are of some of the scenery we were able to take in. Plus one of myself and my cousin at Arthurs Pass, a 'group' photo on out last day and my Husband (on left) plus another cousin of mine on the carriage.

I promised to share...

As promised, here are a couple of projects that I worked on over the weekend. The first one is a card that I have made for my friend in Switzerland that I have been writing to since I was 16. The second one is of Jaden on his birthday opening his parcels. I have used the Cogsmo Range of papers for this one as it is the July Monthly Special range. Check out the store for this great range just for boys.
