Cardstock Challenge Winner

Love the colours and the pen work on the cardstock. Great use of shapes with the cogs and kites.

I know some of you had trouble with just using cardstock, but they have all turned out fantastic. Maybe I should do a challenge with "no cardstock" - now there's something to think about, that would be a challenge for me, I love using cardstock.

Challenge - Lets do it in a circle?

Again I have choosen a sketch from Little Shop of Sketches. I thought this one might be challenging with the circle and three photos. Have a heap of fun putting a 12 x 12 layout together from this and email them to fiona@scrapboxnz.com by midnight the 5 June 2011 (oh my gosh that's nearly the 1st half of the year gone!) Up for grabs is a $20 voucher to spend at Scrap Box NZ.

Cardstock challenge entries

Thank you so much for all the entries. Great to see you all having a go! Brilliant use of cardstock - amazing how not including patterned paper changes the mood of the layout. Brings more focus on the photos. Good Luck to you all!

Will post the brief for the next challenge, later in the day. I have two sick girls at home, so had better go and sort them out first.

Paper Blooms

Just arrived into the shop are these gorgeous paper blooms by Kaisercraft. The packet contains 10 paper blooms of mixed sizes. Smallest 2.5cm and largest 4.5cm. They come in a range of colours and Scrap Box NZ now stocks them in six different colours. Pop over to Scrap Box NZ Shop and see what colours are available.

Next challenge, if you are all up for it is ... Cardstock Challenge

Create a 12 x 12 layout using only cardstock. Photo's & journalling of course as well. Get those punches working to make embellishments, inking, stamping and anything else, but NO patterned paper. Yes you can include ribbon & buttons, but that's all. Flowers out of cardstock.
