Use the above sketch to create a 12 x 12 layout and then add your journalling under the "shelf".  Everything else is up to you - colours, embellishments, subject or theme.  You have nearly a whole month to complete and send your finished layout to fiona@scrapboxnz.com no later than midnight on the 28th May 2012.

Layout Challenge - just one more day

Head of the Class

Sally here with a layout using the 'Head of the Class' paper range (Little Yellow Bicycle).  Time flies- my eldest is now at school!  He was well ready for it and is enjoying it.  No tears (for him!!). 

I have used mostly Scrap Box NZ products here.  Loved how the Baker's Twine colours worked so well.  Just can't get enough of those teeny tiny Maya Road tickets. Popped a metal rimmed tag in there too. 

Card Challenge

Time to get organized - Mother's Day! Really not that far away, but you may be like me and no longer have your Mum or Mother-in-law about, so I thought with this challenge - create a "feminine" card, one that could be used for any occasion and of course Mother's Day!

Busy Friday's

Last Friday saw me pulling the shop apart and taking product over to the Easter Fair in Mapua. It was a really busy day on the Sunday, with record numbers attending the 30th Anniversay of the Fair. It is a local fundraiser for the Mapua School and Playcentre and with over $41,ooo.oo raised from gold coin donations on the gate, they had a very successful day.

Brooke, my daughter and I were busy all day, grabbing mouthful's of lunch as we could and giving out lots of flyers to all that were looking at our stand. Great feedback about our products and some of the things I had made.

Today (Friday again) saw me pulling the shop apart again, this time to make way for the new papers and chipboard that have arrived. When I came back from Mapua last weekend, it was also a bit of a re-arrange fitting everything in, but also knowing I had these new products about to arrive.

Check into the shop and keep an eye out on the "what's new" and "specials" as I will be loading lots into both. Moving on lots of papers at $1.00 and embellishments, chipboard, rub-ons etc at up to 50% off. Some really great bargains to have.

Easter Weekend

I'm going to be at the Mapua Easter Fair, having a stall so if you are in town, come on over. The Fair is from 10am - 4pm on Sunday and with over 300 stalls I'm sure you are going to find something of interest.

Layout Challenge

Your hint was "Sunny Skies" and that's what we have here in Nelson today. I'm sure the seasons have got all mixed up, it's felt more like summer in the last few days than it has in the last few months.
