Great to have some feedback and questions about the challenge I set. A layout using 6 patterned papers and 6 different embellishments. The patterned papers doesn't seem to have you thinking but the embellishments do!!
So this is what will count as an embellishment.
Buttons, chipboard, pearls, rub-ons, ribbon, flowers, trim, brads, sewing etc. Just six different ones but you can used them more than once. eg 3 Flowers, 5 brads, some stitching, 4 buttons, rub-ons and some ribbon. Whatever takes your fancy.
Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia says that an embellishment is anything that adds design interest to the piece.
Hope that all helps and looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

You have until midnight on the 4th July 2010 to submit your layout to fiona@scrapboxnz.com.
Have fun and good luck!

A couple of changes are going to happen -
WATCH THIS SPACE!
Just a few changes happening here at Scrap Box NZ. Nothing too major!
The first that is taking place is that I am going to take over setting the challenges for you. I hope you are ready!!!
A huge thanks to Julia for doing that for me over the last year and I'm sure you will agree there has been some neat challenges to be part of. I hope I can continue with the varied and interesting challenges that Julia set you. I'm pleased Julia has agreed to stay on as one of the judges, that way the judges don't know who the submissions are from.
Any questions you have about the requirements for the challenges I will answer and there will remain the $20 voucher for the winner. If you are unsure about anything set please don't hesitate to contact me fiona@scrapboxnz.com.
Another exciting development will happen shortly - but that's for another day!

Polly put the Kettle on ...
we can all have tea.
This cute little Teapot Album by Kaisercraft would be a great conversation starter if found sitting on your table.
It’s perfect for photos of a special tea party or perhaps for your favourite recipes for biscuits, cakes and other sweet treats. Another idea might be for Grandparents with photo's of the grandchildren in it. Below are a few samples of what can be done with the album and some clever ideas.
The album contains 5 pieces and can be bound either with album rings or ribbon. You can add some wonderful embellishments as they have above with pearls and flowers. It would make a great present for family or friends.

Black & White Challenge Entries
These are amazing - Glad I'm not judging. Julia has no idea who the entries come from because when you email them to me, I resave them under a different name so she can't identify who created them.
Will announce the winner by the weekend - Good Luck to you all! A new challenge will start again on Monday 7th June 2010, wonder what Julia has install for you this time!
