Top Tip Thursday...
...hmmm that time again. Let me start by asking how you are all going with your first challenge in the Great Scrap Box NZ Christmas Challenge. Remember you only have until midnight Sunday.
TOP TIP: You can add your own personal touch to commercially made embellishments such as tags and die cuts. Add some glitter, buttons, ribbon to give them the look you want. At this time of the year there are lots of Christmas embellishments about, so adding some glitter to snow flakes on tags or die cuts will give them the look of ice or snow. A ginger bread man can by dressed up with glitter and buttons to give it that 'home baked' feel. I will try and come back tomorrow with an example of this.
Hope you are having a great week, and happy birthday to Fiona's youngest daughter who turns five tomorrow.

Top Tip Thursday...
...I know I missed last week, it is these 4 day weeks that throw me all out. It was Friday when I remembered, so I had the right number of days after a weekend. But no more excuses.
Top Tip: To give your layout a little more uniqueness, turn your photos on a slight angle, round the edges of your photos with a corner rounder punch, or cut your photo to different shapes e.g. stars, circles etc. But do remember the tip I gave in a previous post. Your photo is the most important aspect of your work.
Enjoy the rest of your week.

What's New
Finally seem to have all the bugs sorted out after the updates to the shop were done. Now it's time to get some new stock loaded. Gorgerous papers from Pink Paislee, Making Memories (lots of glitter and flocking) and Little Yellow Bicycle. There are new cardstock colours that have been added - crimson, rhubarb, sugar cookie all to match the new papers. Kaisercraft has some great Off the Page albums - would make wonderful christmas presents. Keep popping into "What's New" in the shop. Flick through all the pages so you don't miss anything new. Hope your weekend is going well.
