Spring is in the air - flowers everywhere

And there are lots of flowers over at Scrap Box NZ too. Most of the colours of the Green Tara paper flowers come in 2cm, 5cm, 7cm & 10cm. Try the flowers through your cuttlebug or similar machine and embossed them. They are great for stamping on, adding glitter and glimmermist. The flowers are great layering and there are some neat leaves to finish off your design with. Have you seen the roses and rosebuds - great value and very realistic.

You still have time!!!

Join in the challenge that finishes this Sunday at midnight. Check out the details on the posts below and make a 12 x 12 layout using the colours in the picture. My favourite colour combination, browns, creams and pale blue. I have already received layouts and they look great. These colours work well for any sort of layout - boys, spring, winter, water and landscapes might give you a few ideas. There is a $20 voucher to be won to use in store at Scrap Box NZ.

Have a go - "gotta be in to win"!

Vintage Mini

As promised a while back...

Isn't the vintage birdcage just stunning. Here I have simply glimmer misted and added pearls. It worked so well as a focal point on the cover of my mini.

I learnt the basic album design at a workshop by Jacquelyn Pedersen http://stamphappy.typepad.com/
The gatefold album makes a great and inexpensive gift.

I just LOVE the 7gypsies Venice Collection, especially the paper above.

Scrap Box NZ products used: Patterned papers: 7 Gypsies, Martha Stewart border and butterfly punches, Kaisercraft pearls, RW lasercuts Vintage Birdcage, Tattered Angels Glimmermist, Bazzill Basics cardstock, Green Tara flowers and leaves, Ribbon, Ric Rac, Pink Paislee Alphas.
Thanks for stopping by!

Lasercuts order has arrived.

The new lasercuts have arrived and they are great. Cut from chipboard with a laser makes the detail on them really stands out. These can be painted, inked, glimmermisted or left natural. Will make wonderful additions to any layout, card or present.

Below are a few favourites, although they are all wonderful it was hard to choose which ones to feature here. Keys, butterflies, doves and swirl christmas trees sold separately and reasonable at $1 or under.

"As the wise owl said ..." could be a great title on a layout with the wise owl above (he retails for $2.30). Check out the other designs and I'm sure you will find something that you like.

A Girly Layout...

...I promised yesterday that i would show you a beautiful layout using some of the new product that Fiona has in store. So here to the layout that I created using these lovely papers. Fiona is right in saying that the photos on the site don't do them justice. You will just have to see them for yourself.

Products I have used are:
Market Street "Love" Beautiful Paper, Green Tara Flowers in 7cm, 5cm, and 2cm, Making Memories Wedding Deco Pins, Bakers Twine, Green Tara Maple Leaves, Martha Stewart Triple Butterfly Punch and Bazzill Basics Card stock (All from Scrap Box NZ)
Plus miscellaneous products from my own stash: Prima Say in In Studs (Blue), Basic Grey Brads, Urban Prairie Stickers (also from Basic Grey) PaperTrey Ink stamps and Versacolour Ink.

I have folded two of the Green Tara flowers into quarters to give the look of flowers that are not yet quite open.

My Minds Eye - Lost & Found

This collection is just beautiful. The pictures don't do the papers or embellishments justice. They all have glitter accents and the colour combinations work so well.

Pop over to the shop and check out the double sided papers. Under embellishments you will find tags and labels, glittered alphabets on little flags and lovely sentiment words great for any layout or add onto a card.
Also in this collection are Acrylic Stamps and Brad Sets. Each stamp set has at least 10 or more stamps in them, great value for $12.00. The brads contain 35 flower, rhinestone, epoxy and pearl brads in the packet. Again great value as these retail for $10.50. They are selling well, so be quick.

School Holiday's

We have just got back from nearly a week at Para Para, Golden Bay. Didn't have the best of weather but still got time on the beach, whitebaiting, walks and heaps of reading done. We left sunshine today and as it always happens another couple of great day of weather are coming their way. Never mind, we all needed a break and that's what we got which was great.

We had no computer or cell phone coverage, so I appoligies to all that entered in the sketch challenge and have had to wait to find out the results. It was the first time that I have scheduled a post on the blog to appear when I wasn't around, and unfortunately me or technology but I left off the entry below. I am really sorry and therefore will let you know the winner of this challenge tomorrow.
