and I'm sure some will be saying good riddance!!! It's been an interesting and testing year in New Zealand - Earthquakes, Pike River Tragedy, Fox Glacier Plane Crash, flooding, the economy and that's just the major things we have contended with.
Here's wishing for a fantastic 2012 - it can only get better!
Our day didn't start too early, about 7.45am and the girls are still going now at 10pm, playing with presents. We all ate too much, surrounded by wrapping paper and chocolate wrappers.
Went for our mandatory walk in the evening and back to the sofa to blob and another chocolate!
I love these off the page challenges - you have all done so well again! Really inspiring and creative, but wow do we need you to help with voting again. Send us your vote on who you like 1st & 2nd's to fiona@scrapboxnz.com
They are done in pairs, so the voting needs to be for both entries from the one person. See I told you this was hard - aren't they great! (one entry has pulled out, so six to choose from)
Your Challenge was "10 things about Christmas" layout. I think on all of the layouts, it was family & friends that made everyone's list. Such a great day to put time aside for each other. A day to catch up and reflect on time and events that have gone on. Building wonderful traditions to pass on too.
I've got an appointment now, so I will be back in the afternoon with the last challenge - think hanging or standing things !!!
Maya Road mini tags (pictured above) made a simple border.
The idea with the gift album, is that the recipient adds journalling and photos.
Glimmer mist on a doily....
Lotsa little pockets and envelopes with tags to pull out.
Cosmo Cricket Tiny Type Christmas (above)- the package is flying to Canada so very fitting LOL. Paper is Echo Park (background) and Fancy Pants (die cuts).
Looking forward to seeing the challenge layouts. Hope you've enjoyed my Christmas Mini book.
Sally :)
